Applications
- As a water barrier material on high voltage joints and terminations, and as an insulation and water barrier material in low voltage applications.
- For use as a moisture proof seal on telecommunication networks and distribution systems.
Product Benefits
- Supplied in an easy to handle and apply tape form. The product is interleaved with a disposable siliconised paper liner.
- Service temperature: -30°C to +80°C.
- Highly resistant to water and ozone.
- The compound can be used with acrylic and epoxy systems. It is also suitable for use with many joint-box filling compounds (e.g. cold and hot pouring compounds up to 160°C).
- The thickness of the tape makes filling irregular shapes and voids easy, speedy and economical.
- After application, the compound develops good adhesion to surfaces such as metal and most rubber and plastic cable insulation and sheathing materials.
- Excellent properties, staying elastic and non-hardening throughout its service life.
