Exafit® 43100HP is a double-sided foam tape especially designed for flexographic plate mounting. It is based on a specialty acrylic adhesive on its open side (cylinder side) and a graphic grade acrylic adhesive on its closed side (clichés side). Exafit® 43100HP is reinforced with a polyester film and and uses a transparent smooth siliconised embossed PP release liner.

Applications
- Mounting of flexographic photopolymer and rubber clichés on to cylinders or sleeves.
- Exafit® 43100HP is primarily designed for pure half-tone printing, or a combination of both half-tone and block printing when used on the same plate.
- Exafit® 43100HP is particularly suitable for mounting soft to medium-hard photopolymer clichés on to medium to large size diameter cylinders.

- The compressible structure enhances print quality by absorbing any tolerances caused by the irregularities between the impression cylinder, the printing plates and the print cylinder or sleeve, and reduces machine vibration.
- Differential adhesion, with standard adhesion and tack on the plate side and a controlled adhesion on the cylinder side, makes Exafit® 43100HP versatile enough to be used for mounting a variety of clichés on to steel cylinders or sleeves.
- The specific embossed plastic liner used on Exafit® 43100HP reduces the risk of air entrapment, and allows bubble – free mounting of the clichés, especially when this operation is done manually.
- The pink colour of the foam aids the quick identification of foam hardness.
