Exafit® 43241HP is a double-sided foam tape especially designed for flexographic plate mounting. It is based on a specialty acrylic adhesive on its open side (cylinder side), and a graphic grade acrylic adhesive on its closed side (clichés side). Exafit® 43241HP is reinforced with a polyester film and uses a transparent smooth siliconised embossed PP release liner.

Applications
- Exafit® 43241HP is particularly suitable for mounting hard to medium-hard photopolymer clichés on to small to medium size diameter cylinders.
- Exafit® 43241HP is primarily designed for pure block printing, or a combination of both half-tone and block printing when used on the same plate.
- Mounting of flexographic photopolymer and rubber clichés on to cylinders or sleeves.

- The specific embossed plastic liner used on Exafit® 43241HP reduces the risk of air entrapment, and allows bubble – free mounting of the clichés, especially when this operation is done manually.
- The compressible structure enhances print quality by absorbing any tolerances caused by the irregularities between the impression cylinder, the printing plates and the print cylinder or sleeve. It reduces machine vibration.
- Special high performance PE foam allows even longer, faster print runs with consistently high print definition and reduced dot gain at elevated machine speeds.
