PRODUCT REFERENCE: 1235

Scapa 1235 is a single-sided adhesive tape comprising a polypropylene (PE) film reinforced with a polyester grid, coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive on one side and protected by 90 g/m2 silicone paper. Scapa 1235 is white in colour with a red Barnier System print.

Applications

  • The air pressure resistance of the vapour barrier seam has been certified by the German reference institution, the Fraunhofer-Institut für Bauphysik IBP (report P6-188/2011).
  • Typical applications are: Jointing of vapour barrier films, Fixing vapour barrier films on to the various materials encounter in the interior: wood, PVC, metal, etc. Fitting OSB panels.
  • Scapa 1235 is specially designed for guaranteeing the continuity of air tightness on the INTERIOR and EXTERIOR of buildings.
