Polyimide Tape, Kapton® Tape Technical Information
Polyimide tape and Kapton® tape from Scapa comes in 3 different materials, widths, lengths, and thicknesses. Kapton® is the brand name for polyimide film from DuPont™.
• Single sided 25µm polyimide film coated with a cured silicone adhesive, for a total thickness of 69µm
• Single sided 25µm Kapton® polyimide film coated with a cured silicone adhesive, for a total thickness of 60µm
• Double sided 25µm polyimide film coated on both sides with a specially formulated silicone adhesive for a total thickness of 100µm
• Standard widths are 19mm, 25mm, 50mm, 500mm, 1000mm and 1306mm
• Standard length is 33m
