AS127K is an acrylic foam tape, double side coated with a high tack and high peel adhesion pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive for low surface energy substrates. It is protected with a release liner on one side. The product is 1.14mm thick.

Applications

  • Used for bonding low surface energy substrates such as Polycarbonate (PC), ABS, Acrylic (PMMA), Polyester (PET) and Polyimide. The bonding of PE and PP requires the use of a primer to increase performance.
  • The range of applications includes those in: white goods, automotive, signage, etc.

  • The structure of the foam gives high vibration damping and impact resistance.
  • Complies with Directives 2000/53/EC (ELV) and 2002/95/EC (RoHS) restricting the use of heavy metals for products in the automotive and electronics markets.
  • Service temperature: -40°C to +80°C continuous, and to +120°C peak (duration 1 hour).
